Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) Phase II contract has been received from the Air Force that will enable work toward completion of Alphacore’s novel camera system. The multi-scale GHOST high-speed digital imaging technology includes synchronized detectors to capture ultra-short duration images with higher resolution and greater timing accuracy. Alphacore’s solution includes a triggerable, very high-speed imaging multi-chip system mounted in a complete camera for investigating all rapidly occurring phenomena. Targeted applications are munitions arena testing experiments and medical equipment requiring fast imaging of visible light.
