Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) Phase II funding has been received from the DOE’s Office of Nuclear Physics that will enable completion of Alphacore’s Radiation Hardened high-speed Camera for higher resolution monitoring Electron-beam accelerator systems. Alphacore’s novel solution includes a triggerable, very high-speed imaging chip mounted in a complete camera system for investigating rapidly occurring phenomena in radiation environments. Targeted applications are nuclear physics experiments requiring fast imaging of visible light and beam monitoring in particle accelerator facilities.
