Using Department of Defense SBIR awards, Alphacore has developed a radiation-hard high-speed camera system consisting of a sensor, camera, and suite of algorithms designed to work together to enable a rad-hard computational imaging solution. It is suitable for future space-based imaging programs using computational imaging algorithms for the detection and tracking of very fast-moving foreign objects in flight such as space debris or for missile defense. Alphacore has been selected for further development and commercialization of this critically needed camera system.
