Alphacore’s Impulse Radar Transceiver application specific integrated circuit (ASIC) designed for Multi-Static Ground Penetrating Radar Applications. The product employs 1024 parallel samplers for maximum frame depth and sensitivity. It also has fully programmable frame offset for extensive detection range. It incorporates 14-bit ADCs with programmable sampling frequencies, a FIFO ADC buffer with SPI bus readout (with SPI I/O for readout control), low supply voltage, and packaged in a 64-pin land grid array (LGA) package.

 

Alphacore’s Radiation-Hardened 60V Isolated/Non-Isolated Buck Converter ASIC is a radiation hardened, 60V input, 1V to 15V output DC-DC controller. The IC can be configured as a non-isolated (10A max load current) or as an isolated (3A max load current) buck converter. The isolated configuration uses the primary-side feedback to regulate the output voltage, eliminating the need for optocouplers. This, in addition of integrated high-side and low-side MOSFETs, high frequency of operation and integration of the necessary auxiliary 5V and 1.8V voltage regulators assures smallest possible footprint.
